One sector which is recession-proof, c19-impact-proof, is the funeral business.

Caskets sell as usual, if not more. So also the ancillary services...embalming, urns, sai gongs, joss sticks, paper iPhone13, etc....

Quite scary as the white pirates know their economic contribution already passed "use by date" and a social burden, when ICU they may just pull the plug.
Smart old froggies will jabbed and boost liow …my senior peers jabbed mostly ah Tiong and already turbo booster liow

Social burden?

They are trying to keep old people alive, even if they have multiple medical issues which are costly to treat.

And here in Singapore mercy killing is outlawed.

So die die, we must keep old people alive even if they themselves wish to die.

Some of the 162,000 probably died in the meantime. If not from covid, then other causes.

About 25,000 die in SG every year.

Nope, because I know of cases where docs will access the chance of survival … low chance "pluck the plug" because they will want to free up beds
This is not mercy killing, its called not wasting resources when a "medically dead" is being kept alive by machine

OK.  You are talking about those who are on life support.

I am talking about those who can still breath, whose heart can still beat.

Old folks with comorbidities have a reduced chance of dying if they are vaccinated.  Reduced chance does not mean "100% will not die".

If they are not vaccinated, the number of old folks who would have died would be much more.

Some people might ask: What for waste money to keep these old folks alive?  They are a burden to the society.

People say that only if that old folk is not related to them, and is just an ah peh to them.  (Somehow, people might be gentler towards an ah ma...)

But there is a moral issue here because to you, he is an ah pek, but to someone else, he is her grandfather who used to fetch her to and fro school when she was in primary school, then bought her lunch....there is a strong bond.

Multiply this....and you have 400K PGs who are grandpas and grandmas of thousands of young people.  Who is willing to let them die, if it is possible to extend their life for another five years, ten years, maybe twenty years even?

Do not underestimated an unvax old folk who can survive covid or any other flu viruses. Human body is a very complicated system, my great grandma was a smoker and never get cancer.
