i know one of my friend relative who told us why they owned 2 house one bto and the other they are staying is a condo

one day they parent visiting the contractor boss in their bto
the boss and a contractor  workers was with them.
the contractor is having problem renovating the bto

the new water taps keep leaking even rejplace with new one

the tiles will auto flip out from the floor and wall

electrical equipment stop functioning

some contractor  workers quit after working there

then the owner keys went missing

the contractor worker found it  in the store room hanging up in a corner WITHOUT a nail maybe superglue there

so the worker  bought a ladder in and try to take it  down

they key ring was stuck to the wall .... no nail

so the boss and both went into the storeroom  to help pull the key off the wall

then the store room door closed all four of them in the store room

they cant open it

the boss called by phone, some of his workers over to help open the storeroom door

upon hearing what was going on

the workers refuse to help

the owner tenage kids came to open the door from the outside the storeroom

contractor never goes back to the house the contract was cancel
the housw is still vacant

But there could be dozens like this with vacant BTO for 3 or 5 years

Worse, many of them rent out new BTOs
