" Panggung Taj was an old cinema in Geylang Serai that is popular with the locals. From the 1960s to 1980s, the Taj Cinema was a main attraction within the Geylang Serai area and it screened Malay, Western, Bollywood, and Arab movies. It was demolished in 1975 to make way for public housing and a new road but was replaced with a cinema built in the same area named Singapura Cinema.
Singapura Cinema specialized in screening Hindi and second-run Tamil movies, and Malay movies from Malaysia and Indonesia. However, the cinema ceased operation in the 80s, and the building was converted to a furniture shop, followed by an online gaming and pool centre and retail shop.
The cinema building was eventually demolished and redeveloped as a condominium and retail building named The Millage.
Does anyone remember this place at Geylang Serai? "

Ate durian only. After the new road jln turi was built, then often took it as short cut to sims ave, instead going all the way to tanjong katong rd

Not sure kutuk or kutu. Anyway there're several better cinemas nearby, like 乐宫，好来坞
