The Economist researched and reported Singapore ranked as 3rd World's Crony Capitalism has correlation with Credit Suisse recent survey showing 1% top wealthy Singaporeans own 34% of the country's total wealth.
There's correlation with nothing to argue or very little to dispute about.

The Economists had originally published first findings many years ago either in 2004 or 2014 ( I cannot remember now)
Someone complained and questioned the findings, they dropped it
