different people have different conclusion/learning on the rideout saga.

opposition in parliament questioned on the possibility of corruption,conflict of interest and abuse of power.

any MP questioned the morality of the ministers ?
any MP asked the minister why minister must live in big bungalow for big family but citizens cannot live in bigger hdb for big family ?
no MP asked about the morality of the ministers.

let me give another example.

did any opposition member question why PAP have 3 adultery cases in parliament ?
did any opposition member rebuke on the poor morality of PAP MPs ?
did any opposition member rebuke on PAP on how PAP MP should improve on their morality ?
did any opposition member share how PAP can prevent future adultery by adopting industry best practices ?

the answer is no because Dr Chee is not in parliament.

if you scrutinise the speeches of all opposition parties, they target different aspect of PAP.

WP targets on the PAP policy but not on morality of PAP.
PSP targets on the ground issues (PMET,CECA, foreigners) but not on morality of PAP.
SDP targets on ground issues (poverty, fairness,equality) but also on morality of PAP.

SDP expects PAP leaders to walk the talk.
SDP cannot tolerate PAP leaders to tell voters that they cannot have bigger hdb for big family but PAP leaders can have bigger bungalows for
big family.
