Video conferencing has indeed come a long way, especially with the plethora of options available, like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and various softphone solutions optimized for business. That said, there's something to be said for face-to-face interactions, especially at the level of international diplomacy. Non-verbal cues, the nuances of in-person conversation, and the opportunity for sideline meetings can be invaluable.
