SINGAPORE: Thirteen people have been arrested, with seven of them charged, for their suspected involvement in the recent spate of OCBC bank phishing scams between December 2021 and January 2022, said the Singapore Police Force (SPF) on Sunday (Feb 20).
They comprise nine men, aged between 19 and 21, as well as four women, aged between 19 and 22.

Shouldn't blame them
Must blame OCBC, one of the largest banks for not protecting their system and their customers.
More than 30 years ago, news reported a teenager hacked and created havoc into coca cola bottle distribution centre. When they discovered the guy, Coca Cola employed him instead.
If he was in Singapore, probably he's still in Changi today.

Reminded me of what my friend told me yesterday.
When the Dept Head hire ultra expensive CECA and burst the budget, they had to cut or remove the year- end bonus and punish everybody in the Dept.
Why HR don't punish the HoD himself instead?
Sack half the Mayors & PAP Ministers

Runners in Singapore. Easier to catch them.
The other heads are overseas.
Why phising scams hire locals?
Because they need money when there are no jobs available in the past 2 years.
Now Govt still failed to protect the uncles and aunties in their jobs.
I am sure they will be good targets for many other scams and money mules.
