The day this old wily fox don't lay down, his vision of the crooked bridge joining Spore and Msia will surface again. The crooked bridge is his pet project and will forever to be until the day he go meet the Maker. He already win the battle as his Spore same era adversary has passed away and he is last man standing and laughing.

For a person at his age would already stop their political fights. But looks like he just won’t give up and possibly helping his son.

That’s sad.

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Azmin Ali is ready to defend Gombak parliamentary seat against his former mentor and PKR supremo Datuk Seri Anwar.

The Selangor Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairman said anyone can contest in the constituency in the 15th General Election

Azmin, a three-term Gombak MP, said this at a Perikatan Nasional event last night according to a Free Malaysia Today report.

PH confirms Anwar is PM candidate
GE15: PKR to announce candidates tonight

Anwar should take on PKR defectors Azmin or Zuraida, say analysts. Azmin, who is PN election director, was PKR deputy president before he left the party in 2020.

He. (Azmin) orchestrated the Sheraton Move or the crossover of 11 PKR MPs to Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia, himself included, that led to the collapse of the PH government.

Anwar, who is PKR president, had said he would pick areas held by those who had jumped ship from the party to send them a message that "treachery in politics is not acceptable".

Future looks bleak for Gerakan Tanah Air (GTA), as the possibility of building alliances with other political coalitions slowly withers.

Experts believe the unofficial pact is in for a dismal showing and may end up being "buried" in the 15th General Election (GE15).

GTA, aims to contest more than 120 seats, might end up securing only five seats at most despite. Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad — as its chairman.

Associate Professor Dr Awang Azman Awang Pawi said when Dr Mahathir headed Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) in the previous general election, the party secured only 13 seats.

GE15: PN shuts door on GTA

Perlis Warisan open for talks, PH and PN snub GTA's electoral pact offer

No such thing as 'retirement age' in in says Dr M
"The best it can do is probably win only three to five seats, and that, too, with all-out campaigning.

"Dr M won only 13 when he was with Bersatu. It is likely that he will do much less under GTA.

"GTA's political future will likely be buried sooner than it thinks," he told the New Sunday Times.

Political analyst from Universiti Malaya said GTA's plan to contest 120 seats would be an obstacle for the pact, as the political coalition would find it hard to find worthy and acceptable candidates.

GE15: Dr M party faces bleak future, says analyst
Experts believe the unofficial pact is in for a dismal showing and may end up being "buried" in the 15th General Election (GE15).

Associate Professor Dr Awang Azman Awang Pawi said Dr M headed Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) in the previous general election, the party secured only 13 seats.

Bersatu sec-gen: No official discussion to cooperate with Dr M party in GE15. Perlis Warisan open for talks, with PH and PN snub Dr M electoral pact.

Note: GTA is made up of Parti Pejuang Tanah Air (Pejuang), Parti Bumiputera Perkasa Malaysia, Barisan Jemaah Islamiah Se-Malaysia and Parti Ikatan India Muslim Nasional.

Dr M previously courted Perikatan Nasional (PN) and Pakatan Harapan (PH) in the run-up to 14th election.

Dr M last week said he was willing to "set his ego aside" crying to unite the opposition parties to offer a strong challenge against Barisan Nasional (BN).

However, any hope for an alliance with PN appears to have ended abruptly. Last Thursday, PN shut its doors to any cooperation with Dr M. Associate Professor Dr Awang Azman Awang Pawi

So GTA has announced eight candidates for GE15:

Dr M for the Langkawi parliamentary seat, His son. Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir for Jerlun,
Datuk Amiruddin Hamzah for Kubang Pasu,
Datin Che Asmah Ibrahim for Sepang,
Mior Nor Haidir Suhaimi for Tapah,
Harumaini Omar for Hulu Selangor,
Mohd Shaid Rosli for Kuala Selangor and
Datuk Seri Khairuddin Abu Hassan for Titiwangsa.

Another political analyst, Azmi Hassan, predicted that Dr M would have to go it alone, and did not see any chance that Pakatan Harapan (PH) would accept the pact into its fold. He said Dr M had little to offer. Have No Political History. Unlike the Malaysian United Democratic Alliance.

"GTA has no political history, and its performance in the Johor election showed how weak Pejuang's influence is." He said GTA or Dr M should go into areas it perform well, such as Kedah where Dr Mahathir and Mukhriz would defend their seats.

A “political frogs”, Zuraida, a former PKR vice-president and among the key protagonists of the Sheraton Move. Both Zuraida had quit PKR with Azmin Ali to join Bersatu and was duly rewarded by being retained as housing and local govt ministe.

Just days before nominations for the 15th general election, Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM) has been rocked by a crisis with its president, Larry Sng, suspending key leaders, including former Ampang MP Zuraida Kamaruddin, who just joined PBM as its “president-designate”.

His bumiputra policy did not materialised
Only small inner circle members getting rich and powerful.
Majority Malays especially those staying in kampong still poor
hence give politicians an excuse to play racial card accusing other races controlling the country's economy
If new PM has the gut to reduce corruption to 10%
Malaysia will be new shooting star
Just look at Indonesia, the President is able to increase economy growth in his country.
Malaysia Malay leaders are fighting for power. Power means wealth.
Money is king. Play racial card is a norm
and not economy card.
The number of Malay working in Singapore is slowly increasing especially those unable to find a job in own country
