Energy: Norway reluctant to cap the price of its exports despite European demands
#1

Having become Europe's leading gas supplier, Norway is reaping unprecedented revenues since the start of the Ukrainian crisis and the drying up of Russian gas exports to the EU.

The State should draw 150 billion euros from oil and gas revenues in 2022.

In a position of strength in the face of a Europe that is desperately looking for electricity and gas, Oslo claims the reliability of its supply so as not to cap its prices and to said to be in favor of an energy market free of public intervention.
