Each sinkee should be given a 4rm condo there. Better than letting the useless PAP waste our $$$ there. I will be first to move there.

That is true. Sinkees on holiday can stay there for free or pay very minimal airbnb, rather than letting it rot.

Treating Tianjin airport as domestic airport catering 24/7 to/from Changi airport.

Scoot can fly hourly flight to Tianjin

The political situation now and then is much different. Now that the foreign industries are pulling out from China one after another and not much is said about the new foreign investments, this project would have a lot of difficulties competing with the local project and is doomed to fail unless they can sell the project away to the Chinese developer.

A project such as township development is a very very long-term project with a timeframe and ROI of more than 30 years. The present difficulty faced could be just short-term. If they can't get rid of it, the best is to ride out the storm.

The lease gets shorter

Costs of maintenance is very high to keep everything in order ; clean and functioning.

The best option is to cut lost and get out

Our leaders are too naive, living in an ivory tower. Pay them so much in the end got scam. What happen to the billions that they invested?
