The fine is only $10k max. And probability get caught is low. While the cost difference between Sg And jiuhu is could be $5 -6 k wide or even higher.
And some exotic animals are not available in sg like snakes/alligator turtle/sugar gliders/porcupine/scorpion/spider/lizard while legal in Jiuhu

Msia is a place you got monies all almost can. In rural area they rear wild puppies later grown up dogs to help safeguard ppty or house or chicken etc. In affluent Spore ppl rear dogs as pet and the total cost for a dog can be as high as a child depending. So for rearing exotic animals come as no surprise Spore got many rich ppl despite alot are poor?
