Low cost of labour is the only reason India thinks it can become world largest chip maker…however it doesn’t have the technology and know how. The U.S., Japan and Korea also want to become world leading chipmakers but lost to Taiwan. According to Taiwanese companies that set up factories in India, the quality of the chips produced are not meeting expectations and Indian workers are hard to manage as they tend argue a lot with employers.
