While I was camping with friends in Montana, USA many years ago, rangers advised us to pee into holes that we dig in the ground to cover the scent so animals can't trace it so easily. Our food, drinks and toiletries must be kept in airtight containers to avoid attracting wild animals such as bears and wolves.
