has anyone here heard any feedback from SCDF personnel actually using the new suit in live scenarios? Would be interesting to know if the upgrades really make a big difference, especially in Singapore’s heat. Also curious if other countries in the region are trying similar upgrades.

Saw something similar used during a demo last year—those suits actually make a big difference. The guys wearing them mentioned how much lighter and more breathable it felt compared to older gear. The tech behind FYREBX firefighting equipment also seems to be going in the same direction, focusing on reducing heat and giving better protection without weighing them down. Makes long shifts a bit more bearable from what they said.
