In fact, Singapore was ranked as the safest country in the world in Gallup's Law and Order Index 2022. The country also has one of the lowest fire fatality rates globally, according to the World Fire Statistics Report 2022 ¹.
The survey's findings align with other reports, which highlight Singapore's low crime rates and effective law enforcement. For instance, the Singapore Police Force enjoys high levels of public confidence, with 87% of respondents in a survey expressing trust in the force ².
