Go see the war torn countries.
See people in Myanmar who were hit by the flood.

The voucher values are rather small to the rich. It’s a form of appreciation for their contributions. Aferall ge is cuming soon and the money actually came from them. No need for pnp to offend them

Yes, the amount is so small and therefore, no need to give at all, lah
HUH? Why must use CDC vouchers that is meant to help the poor as a form of appreciation?
So morally dirty to make PAP Grey to Black.

The CDC vouchers are the skin and bones from the fat chicken that the wealthy handed to the govt earlier in the form of taxes.

The rich do not rely on the CDC vouchers; they are a small token of appreciation by the govt for all the direct and indirect taxation that the wealthy have contributed to the subsidies given to the masses.

GST is implemented to keep taxes on the rich and corporations low and shift tax burden to ordinary Singaporeans.
What the govt is doing raise GDT hurts the millions of low income Singaporeans and retirees whoblack income and now they have to pay more GST.
Do not believe the PAP are taking care of your interests.

The GST is a broad-based tax, meaning it applies to almost all goods and services. This can be seen as a fairer approach compared to targeted taxes that may exclude certain groups or industries. The revenue generated from GST is used to fund essential govt services and social programs that benefit all S'poreans, including lower-income individuals.

robin hood robs the rich to give the poor
hood robin robs the poor to give the rich
before gst rich man tax was 40% after gst is was reduced to 30%, then to 20%, now stands at 23%
corparate tax was at 40%, after gst it was reduced, now stands at 17%
estate duty was abolished on 15 feb 2008
1 tier dividend tax was introduce from 1 jan 2008
before 1 tier div tx, div flows to personal income n is taxed at personal tax bracket ie rich man is taxed at 40% while retired n jobless will get a refund if the div is less than their taxable income
after 1 tier div tax rich man get a huge discount from 40% to 17%, saving 23% while poor man who used to get a refund, now effectively pays corrparate tx of 17% n gst, ie his tax liability has effectively increase from 0 to 17% plus gst
while rich man still saves 5% cos his income tx is 23% but div tx is 17%
so after gst, rich man is saving 17% on income tax every year n 23% on div tx and ofc no longer subject to estate duty
so gas where the shortfall comes from??
but their mantra is gst is to help the poor

Richer S'poreans may spend more on goods and services, but the % they pay remains the same. Therefore, GST is considered a regressive tax because it disproportionately affects the lower income who spend a higher % of their income on essential goods and services.

Poor got category. You need to be the poorest poor then get more govt help. E.g I saw some lock on the water or gas meter of my parents old house neighbours. Old design is put outside all can see. Then during some RC session finish I saw them bring bags of rice home seem to be given free from the RC? Then they also got vouchers I see them counting. Chas card colour blue my mum told me in downstairs clinic see them.

CDC should benefit the poor and not the rich
Rich Poor and Average all fatten PAP but as a Govt, they must draw a Clear Line
Not everything is Grey

Still no benefit to pnp if they do as you suggest. Their main concern is how to get the most votes to stay in power
