More comfortable to sit and not everyone can squat especially old folks with knee problems. However can get the same effect if you use a squatty potty to raise your legs while you sit on the toilet. Can go online to buy..... Rolleyes

The squatting bowl is better than sitting one lah. But if you want to squat then better change the sitting bowl so as not to fall off while shitting lah! Go to a public toilet and see the difference between both lah!

Actually it is the same. The problem is that you need to change your posture when you are using sitting type toilet bowl.
You need to lift up your both legs higher.
You got to get a support for your legs.

" When people use posture-changing devices to squat, studies show, they go more quickly. They also strain less and empty their bowels more completely than when they sit on the toilet.

By making it easier to poop, squatting might ease constipation and prevent hemorrhoids, which are often a result of straining. "
