Spend a moment to reflect on the promises made in 2020 and what actually happened.

The PAP prooceeded to blame external factors after increasing GST, bus fares, water, etc. The people  can see for themselves what is happening, they are not so easily fooled this time.
.
I dont want to go into a debate about whether the PAP care about your life, job or future. Each individual in Singapore undergoes a unique experience and one cannot infer what is happening to the society in general from looking an one person's life. I am sure the system works well for the Sjngapore ministers and MPs who are paid millions or are high flyers in their jobs.  But what is happening to ordinary Singaporeans, the man on the street?

Has job security improved since the last election? What has the PAP done to improve job security? I dont know. But i know what they have done to undermine it. As soon as Covid19 restricteions were lifted, the started increasing the foreign worker influx especially  PMETs, and the large influx displaced Singaporean workers. If young people are feeling insecure about jobs what is it like for older workers?

As the PAP increased the population through foreign influx to record levels, housing shortages caused prices and rentals to surge. This is hardship for young couples who needed a home to start families

Above are just a sample of many worsening  problems faced by Singaporeans. Health care costs, child care, fertility rate, retirement inadequacy, high mental stress and rising income inequality  etc also got worse.

So what has improved since the last election? Life jobs and future....all got worse for ordinary  Singaporeans.

Why?

The promises during elections are just a facade.

The PAP main agenda is to grow the economy with foreign influx and whatever cost and negative effects the come with is is passed on to Singaporeans. When the struggle becomes too tough, they will issue CDC vouchers to ease the pain. The more vouchers they gjve out the more pain they are trying to ease.

If one go through all the data, it is very clear that the most important thing now is to relook at all policies and figure a changebjn direction  before it becomes to late and damagjng to change course.

The PAP will never change their ways without a stronger opposition in parliament.

I, being poor, have only my dreams; I have spread my dreams under your feet; Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.
