OpenAI CEO Sam Altman owns Deep Seek a big "Thank you" for giving him 1 week of good (& expensive) lesson. Big Grin

Altman admitted publicly for the 1st time America's AI leadership is "less" than "previous years".

Very unusual to see famous Silicon Valley IT titans like Sam suddenly become so humbled overnight. Big Grin

No point closing source and denying anything anymore, just apologise for the money and resources wasted and think of what to do next

Sam Altman has finally "wake up".

When a competitor is more open about their solution at a cheaper price than your impressive and expensive (secret) product , his business will be effectively priced you out of a free market...  So what next can US offer to sell now ? Freedoms and Democracy ? Big Grin
