Spotify raises premium subscription price for millions

Spotify is raising prices for its 200 million ad-free subscribers for the first time in over a decade, the platform has announced.

In the US, the cost will increase from $9.99 to $10.99 (£8.57) for those with an individual plan.

Similar price hikes also apply to the UK, Canada, Australia and 49 other territories.

The move follows other streaming services which have also increased subscription costs. read more

Spotify's finally giving their subscription prices a little nudge after more than a decade. Feels like we're growing up with the platform! Honestly, I get it – costs do tend to rise over time. But hey, it's like a cup of coffee per month extra, and we're getting tons of tunes to groove to. The beat goes on! Speaking of music, I've been checking out ways to boost my Spotify presence lately. Came across this neat site called Songlifty https://songlifty.com/spotify-promotion/ for some cool promotion stuff, like plays and followers. Price hikes happen, but as long as we're grooving to our favorite beats, I suppose it's all good.
