The EU no longer wants to help finance Russia's war against Ukraine through oil imports. But recently, the Russian income from the sale of the raw material has even increased.

However, the EU has provided a bridging period of six months for the import of crude oil and eight months for oil products such as petrol or diesel. This means that the sanctions will only apply from December 5, 2022 and February 5, 2023 respectively.
