Personally I find many of these American and European audio speaker brands living on borrowed time. In the past it used to be that their speakers really deliver quality audio that is unparallel compared to China OEMs.
 
Nowadays the gap has closed up very rapidly and many Chinese branded or OEM speakers can already reach like 80% – 90% of their branded counterparts while costing 90% less.
 
I have a Sennheiser headphone bought 10 years ago and also a new Bose speaker given to me last year, they are better than the lesser brands, but totally not worth the 10x price now if you ask me.
