This is no good…what if people change the content of an important message that is time critical. For example the meeting with a customer is scheduled at 10am but you are late so you quietly change the time to 11am, what will the other party feel?

There will be dispute, your customer is unhappy as you said we meet at 10 am and you argue that the meeting time is actually 11am as per WhatsApp message. You lied about it.

Maybe WhatsApp should only allow user to make changes to the sent message within 5 mins, more than that will not be allowed. Alternatively the timestamp should be reflected after each change
