Lousy brand. Go for Daikin, National, Panasonic will last you way much longer.
Cheaper unknown brands may appear cheap but the breakdowns and subsequent repairs and maintenance costs will tell you otherwise.

Should be fine. They come with a warranty, right? Just change all the pipings. Sub-contractor usually like to take a shortcut on pipings by joining new to old pipes. As the aircon is cheaper, you can choose a higher value on piping insulation if the sub-contractor provides for it. Mould can grow inside the pipes over the years.
