how you do payWave without physical card? How come I must tap that cashier's scanner with my physical credit card whenever I payWave? .... Thinking

Which bank does PayNow use in Singapore?

The 9 participating banks in Singapore are: Bank of China, Citibank Singapore Limited, DBS Bank/POSB, HSBC, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Maybank, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, and United Overseas Bank. With PayNow, the recipient's bank account information will be kept private.

Singapore is so small and all these payment should merge into Big 4. The rest can close down to reduce confusion for us.

Yes. You are right.

You still can use cash but be prepared to give exact amount as they may not have exact change for you.
