The election department handles the election. What the President can do or his duties should be read by the court or legislation... Why is the election department putting out a statement on the role of the President after the nomination is done?
If the election department is trying to straighten up and tell candidates not to overpromise etc, they should just announce it that way.
Make changes lor in GE if you don't like .
