The court heard that at about 10.50am, Gan saw her and began pointing and shouting at her in front of other members of the public.

Why the PAP MP did not help him or direct him to the relevant agencies for assistance ?
If PAP MP did nothing to help the unemployed, many of them would have have scolded her behind her back.
This one is brave enough to scold her in front of everyone.

Unless the person is insane, no one will scold a MP if he/she is a good and helpful MP.
When someone scolds a MP, 100% sure that this resident must have received no help from the MP.
If MP cannot help directly, she/he should direct the resident to the relevant agency.

Some ministers also deserved to be scolded. At the moment mostly done thru Facebook and online. Soon they may close that avenue.

I supoose that is why they are paid excessively well. To drive those needy people on a wild goose chase so that MPs can be busy but never effective and unlikely solve their own problems that spill over.
PM Lee should cut their pay by half so that his MPs can be more effective.
