That is due to ECFA established by Ma and China that Taiwan subsequently enjoyed the benefits years later.

Yes it's the golden era for tech which TW focuses on. But heard salaries stagnated. Also wait till volatile tech crash then talk again. 

Anyway point not about economy, but DPP contributed largely to current crisis with China
