This is a scam. He has always been subordinate to LHL and must have taken LHL’s instruction to ensure a PAP Presidency just like HY. The writer like the 70% is delusional to think that he has ever acted in the interest of the State or Citizens. He hid HC’s remuneration when he was Finance Minister and never offered an explanation of the $30b loss by MAS. You never hear him on any issue be it KOM, the recent money laundering, FTX lossess etc. The international image of him is due to the increase of funds to IMF during his time as finance Minister.The funds were increased from about $38million to over $300m. This has bought him his world wide recognition, His SKILLS DEVELOPMENT FUND was administered so badly that until today Taxpayers’ funds whch were misappropriated hve yet to be recovered. The reason for his 70% win is not his popularity but a well run campaign. He knew he qualified and was ready and got his funders to put up his posters on almost every street. This is the same tactic of commercial advertisers. Tharman’s win just like Halimah is a win only for the PAP. The citizens by voting have agreed to keep the reserves hidden for the next 6years to 12years. The PAP has already increased the saving of retirement funds. Food costs is rapidly rising. The 70% shot themselves and are celebrating. This is the reason a party like the PAP can remain in power for 58years. It is undemocratic and authoritarian and he is very much part of it for the past 22 years!

they should not introduce their own candidatee
but just let the election take its natural course
tharman already was 'recuited' much earlier than most pple even know there will be a election
they already plan it
