Renovations on a Sunday is a violation of the HDB rules and regulations. Notices posted at lift lobbies before start of renovations already stipulated the times/days of permitted works. Penalties can be brought against the contractors/owners. No excuse for feigning ignorance of the rules.
Saturday also banned one.
