Hamas has gone "underground" (literally /figuratively) like all Resistance organisations do in times of war

The French Resistance did the same when the Nazis came

But my question is why hasn't IDF started the ground offensive?

It went in under the cover of darkness with full protection armoured convoy into Gaza briefly and hurriedly got out the same night

What is the IDF afraid of?

If Israel did not slaughter 3000 children in Gaza there is nothing for Hamas to use to gain sympathy

They did a quicky in & out on the first night to take down the fence that they themselves put up to imprison Gaza

On the second night they returned with a Division-size invasion force with thousands of troops & hundreds of tanks /armoured vehicles attacking from North, East and South of Gaza but retreated after suffering losses at the hands of Palestinian resistance fighters 

You're trying very hard to portray the Israelis as the good guys. You're wasting your time.
