Just returned from Malaysia, JB. It is hard to find a Shell petrol station.

The first time, I came across this type of patrol attendant. Cost $193. Pay him $200, he said thank you and pretended to be humble. $7 gone.

Later, he brought 3 bottles of soft drink to me. I thought he was giving me the soft drink in return for the $7. No, he asking for another $7. If I had given him $10, he would have also taken it.

Lesson learnt:
Next time, don't pump the V Power grade, just a normal higher grade. You pay at the counter.

For V Power, either they lock up or the patrol attendant wants cash at the pump location.
