Jail for man who whacked another with stick and baseball bat for misidentifying him as cough syrup seller

After being wrongly identified as the man who was paid S$1,500 for cough syrup, Koh Hee Yang got into a quarrel with his accuser and attacked the person with a wooden stick and baseball bat.

I agree that Koh's brutal attack extended far beyond self-defense even though the victim did advance towards him with a penknife.
