Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Indonesia's Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs, has been receiving treatment and recovering in Singapore General Hospital over the month of October.

He said he was offered by Senior Minister Teo Chee Hean and Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan to undergo his recovery in Singapore, as well as to undergo a more comprehensive evaluation of his condition

In response to questions about why he is recovering in Singapore and not Indonesia, Luhut revealed that his treatment started in Indonesia. After discussing with friends and family, he decided to go to Singapore.

"However, I'm not able to return to the motherland yet as I'm still undergoing treatment to ensure my condition is fully recovered,' he added in his post.

why singapore ministers ask Indonesia minister to come to SGH for expensive treatment ?

who pay for the expensive treatment ?

one month stay will cost more than $100K ?

need revenue from 9% GST to pay for his treatment ?

using our money to made them feel good like they paid for them. vote wisely. if want to do such things, kindlr use our money

Than why we exchange student in oversea study ? They not able to study at home..? This type of mutual program many years already have ....those Indonesia minister their gov have the money to pay lah.....Brunei sultan wife millions dollars also can pay.

I guess Teo Chee Hian paid for his hospital expenses here as the report said he invited him to come to SGH.

Indon minister should be beri wealthy by right. Not say their pay is higher dan Sinpwn's ministar but they are in positions of power. By right should be able to foot bill but dunno whether Sinpwn got give discount or not . Indon minister cannot take freeby  otherwise can be accused of accepting bribery by enemies. Consider dis as fostering better diplomatic ties yah. Iz the smart thing for Sinpwn to do.
