1) They have different stories(constantly changing their stories)

2) Their stories have plot holes(some details don’t add up)

3) They immediately get defensive(they’ll try to gaslight you into thinking that their latest story is the real one. )

4) They over-explain themselves(Part of their defensiveness tends to manifest in how they over-explain themselves)

5) They avoid silence(they talk on and on about it is to avoid silence.)

6) They use preemptive language
Eg:
“To my knowledge…”
“As far as I know…”
“From how I understood it…”
“Maybe I’m wrong, but…”

7) They have a back-up excuse(they have an excuse ready in case you catch them in the act.)

8) They always agree with you

9) They distance themselves physically

10) They fidget a lot

11) They’re way too calm
