I have seen domesticated cats, jumps and catch diving swallows in the open  field and bring it into a safe and quiet place to eat them..

I thought we must give our pets cook food only?

Looks like they prefer raw meat, tender and fresh like sashimi.

squirrels and hamsters too, even pull out and bite off head of bird from inside cage. very cruel

not surprised, cooked meat are hard to chew.
