For a few days to more than a week, and then out of the blue, becomes cold again?

What is the reason? Ever experienced before?

Icing on evaporator, sometimes will just melt and back to normal again.

off the fridge and let all the ice melt, maybe got blockage............then 24hrs later then turn on again............

nowadays with electronics in fridges - another thing that will spoil...........

Can put the freezer as well as the refrigerator compsrtment on full blast? Or better to tune them to average strength?

If it's due to forming of ice blocking the air passage, full blast is likely to make it worse

But it never happen for years. Only recently such thing happen. What you think is the reason? Dont think is the thermostat, right?

If due to ice forming, turn off for 2 hrs and turn on again shd be ok

Another cause could be leakage. Hv to get repairman to check and top up. Get a few quotes from Carousell, as the prices could differ a lot. Like my car ac topup, price varies from 10 to 60.

If after topping up still not cold, then needs repair liao

Sometimes it is thermostat issue.
Need to check and clean up the thermostat.
If you hear noisy sound. Sometimes it is due to faulty thermostat.

Your fridge still can become cold means your compressor and piping are ok.
Likely is thermostat ki siao…

sometime got noise is Normal, I read the manual. The manafracture calim .

about it getting sudden cold sometimes due to surrounding.

I noticed when weather become cooling , open the fridge is cold even more.

Actually checking the thermostat not much use. Because knowing whether it's ok or not, doesnt help much, unless you can get the replacement and diy.
