HDB is a 99 yr leasehold.
You are the owner of the lease which van be sold to others. Many condos are also 99yr leaseholds. I don't see a problem.
Those who are not happy with this are free ro buy a freehold.
The HDB and govt already upfront tell you it is a 99yr lease. There are no lies.
One can own a long tem lease ....it make zero sense to complain and complain about this issue.
Our leasehold HDB flats are worth more than landed propeprty jn Malaysia.
