JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd announced that at least 64 car models were involved in a side crash safety test manipulation scandal throughout the world, including Indonesia. Of the total models, 22 of the products are vehicles sold under the Toyota brand . As a result, the car involved will be temporarily stopped by the company from being sent to consumers.
"Based on these findings, today we have decided that deliveries will be temporarily suspended for all vehicles produced in Japan and abroad," said Daihatsu President Soichiro Okudaira in an online press conference, Wednesday (20/12/2023).
