So Hamas is refusing to release the 40 hostages. They wanted Israel to stop the aggression altogether. Israel had said it would not halt its military campaign. Hamas was tricked once before; they would not want to fall in the second time. Israel and US will now have good excuses in UN that Hamas rejected ceasefire deal.

According Times of Israel and Fox news, Israel made the offer of truce and Hamas rejected.  

Netanyahu said at the beginning that Hamas will be all dead bodies, right?   

Why now offer truce? Buay tahan liao lah.
