America healthcare system was darling badly when Obama took office and he made a sincere and massive effort to fix the problem. This legislation would come to be known as Obamacare. The opponents spread misinformation, conspiracy theory, vitriol and rally and attack the legislation.
Hwalthcare experts around the world who examine the scheme objectively concluded that it is common sense legislation that are proven successful around the world already. Yet it faced so much hate and opposition among American conservatives and their supporters.
It is delusional when Americans have the shortest lifespan in the developed world yet spends the most as a % of GDP on healthcare. They still think they had a had good system and Obama was wrong to fix it.
Same with their gun laws. After many people died from mass shooting. They still refuse legislation to address the situation.
