TB bacteria spread through the air from one person to another. When a person with TB disease of the lungs or throat coughs, speaks, or sings, TB bacteria can get into the air. People nearby may breathe in these bacteria and become infected.
Already got warning about TB cases on the rise in Singapore a few years ago when there was huge influx of South Asians to Singapore. The trains are packed like sardine cans with tons of South Asians during peak period and they are good spreading ground for TB. Better invest in N95 mask and use them with taking public transport.  Â
