Last time I went to China and knew one Chinese girl, who studied in a private uni in Spore for a few years. She is rich but still rented a house together with a few friends. The house she rented was a landed property.

my gf from Kota Tinggi rents out her 2 bedder condo unit at Lakeside to a NTU student from China for abt $4.5k. The rent used to be ~$3.5k
