Singapore property is the best investment for Singaporeansjust look at the 30yrs track record.

From time to time it may fluctuate a but by far one just needs to buy and hold on.
Of cos Desmond is right. History has shown that no property market in the world is always going up. When the population size stalls, we know that prices will come down, for who will be coming in to buy them?

Spore is restricted in land size and it's difficult to go beyond 7mil population. We are nearing population limit.

Election coming so housing price need to normalise meaning adjust down somewhat to appeal the younger generations who can't afford even hdb resale. Like coe.

Afterall even down 20% most of the existing owners still sitting on paper profits.
Aiya if property prices up, some happy some unhappy. Same if prices down
The important thing is when prices go up, you got something to offer. And when prices go down, you hv enough money to bargain. It's somilar to other types of investments.
