Tech big layoffs are focusing on old tech engineers.
These techs companies are realigning themselves focusing on GenAI, LLM, and cognitive AI.
Traditional IT engineers need to reskill themselves gearing towards the above mentioned, if not .... can go do grab delivery or PHV liow
Not easy to switch to development of ai systems, need to be gd in maths especially stats and engineering maths, algorithmic design, coding and hv access to vast amount of testing data

Well, if dont even wanna try .... best become PHV or grab delivery lor
Nothing to do with AI. These engineers are simply being overpaid to do work that is not the focus of the companies. Now these companies have come to this realization.
