Malaysia is in 50th place. Their children waste most of their time playing games and watching TV. The whole childhood is wasted unlike in Singapore.
5. Poor development of the country. I go see only KL is well developed. The rest is like jungle, river and rural. Instead of making full use of the land to host more people, the land is idle. Just look at Singaproe every inch of land is well used.
6. Low wealth. Unlike Singaporeans who can accumlute high wealth in property. ..even my family 2 room flat is worth more than landed property own by friends living in Malaysia. I see them live in poverty also feel sorry for them.
7. Lack of NS experience. Most Malaysian men grow up without military service lack discipline and experience of bonding.

This is more due to bad urban planning. Malaysian cities, for some reason are more like North American cities than East Asian cities or European cities. Too many landed properties instead of apartments and leading to huge urban spread. Difficult to have a good mass transport system due to cities being so spread out with low density.
And it is not just that mass transportation will be harder to implement in such a spreadout city. Stuff like plumbing, drainage, electrical wiring, internet access etc will more expensive to build and maintain too.

Strange this whole issue become personal.
It is common to compare countries...justblook at organisations. Asking rankings of companies. The serve as areas to improve and make better for the people of the country...especially when there other countries is nearby we can learn from each item.
I have already pointed out many areas where singapore can improve in health care, housing and work life.
Now people attack me demanding I compare myself ....so with which of 7.8 billion people to compare with and what purpose does it serve since every individual have different circumstances.
