A lot of companies are still using magnetic tape for backups.

Best storage is still magnetic recording. More reliable. I still got few 2.5” HDD. I think more than 8 years. Still in good condition.

I still use my sony walkman to listen to meowsic

hard to compatible outside Jp,
also must endure slow transfer rate.

But is very economical for non image or video files.
