The commentators have been praising the Malaysian supporters for spending time and money to be at Qatar for the Asia Cup matches
They claimed they numbered by the thousands and have been the best supporters in the entire tournament, singing and making the loudest noises

These Malaysians supporters did not spend thousands of ringgits to be at this tournament in Qatar lah
Most of them are migrant workers in Qatar and the neighbouring Middle East countries
Many brought over their families to be with them while they work there
And the tickets, subsidised by the Qatar authorities, were given to them by their employers 
You think they can afford the expensive tickets and hotels with their lousy ringgits?

I have always wondered how so many fans from impoverished 3rd World Countries are able to physically support their teams at World Cup tournaments overseas.  The airfares, accommodation, match tickets, transportation etc. would drain their life savings and place them in further debt.
