Every year ..same old disaster.. Chinese in China should not celebrate CNY in Jan and Feb... Their ancestors are stupid to follow the wrong calendar. If follow Western calendar , Spring is around April..

Spring starts on 21 March。

To this day, the Chinese still use the lunar calendar.

In ancient times, the Chinese didn't take trains to travel from huan part of China to another.  They cerebrated Spring Festival wherever they were, which was home.  It's industrialization where some cities benefitted more than others because the well-paying jobs were there, which caused this mass human migration.
