tell your uncle Thanksgiving is only celebrated in North America, early settlers there had no food to eat but Turkeys...tough and tasteless Turkey meat saved them.

My uncle don't bother in depth, he just like to celebrate Halloween , Thanks giving, Christmas, NY Countdown and CNY,
